The new digital circuit DSH provides not only the possibility for smooth start of an AC-motor. DSH offers much more in different stages of extension. Until now for most of the drive problems there was only an solution possibel with frequency inverters, which are very expensive for bigger power.
DSH can work like an solid state relay with and without softstart. With DSH it is possible to adjust the voltage from 0 - 100 %, for example for adjusting the voltage and torque of a motor or for heatings, for infrarotlight-systems and also for light-systems.
Also with DSH it is possible to make a brake with DC. The current for the brake is adjustable, also the brake time. Brake works devoid of abrasion.
Further on in another stage of extension it is possible to make an motor reversal with softstart. Up to 75 kW, the DSH-softstarter can be delivered including bypass-contactors for both directions of the motor. To make motor reversal with DSH is very interesting, because this solution can manage with less space than the standard reversal connection
with connectors. DSH required only conatactors for the both direction in S 1.
Contactors for the standard reversal circuit must be dimensioned in S 3, much bigger and more expensive. DSH with electronical reversal the softstart for motor is nealy donated.
For example, DSH reversal circuit with softstart for motor 30 kW required only 250 x 250 mm, all in all like a blad in DIN A4. That`s nearly half space, what is required for standard solution with contactors and relays. And surely it`s cheaper, it saves on time and man power and also space in the cabinet. And if there is also dc-brake necessary, price is much more interesting.
DSH have also gate input for thermistor-protection of the motor. Standard is output gate
for top of ramp and also error message. All parameters like softstart-time, stop-time, brake-current and time and so on can be easy programmed with 3 knobs and one reset-knob in only some minutes and than the unit is ready to start.
Control wires can be fitted in pluggable connectors. Up to 75 kW power input and output for motor are attached in clamps.
