DST AC Power Controller

In principle the DST is consttrukted like our half-wave-controlled softstarer HSG. The autput voltage can be adjusted stepless between 0 and rated voltage. When the main is 400 V you can adjust voltage between 0 - 400 V and on the same way it is possible to control the motor torque. According to the voltage the torque of the motor would be changed.

For this kind of voltage regulation motors with soft characteristics are suitable, because these are able do absorb the power dissipation at the best.

DST can be performed for adjusting the voltage with potentiometer, which are inside of the unit. But also the current controller is available for external potentimeter, which can be connect at a 3-pole terminal.

Together with normal motors DST there are no problems, when the characteristic of the machine is squarish for example at pumps, ventilators and when there is enough cooling for the motor.
