HSG 3-phase

In case of these devices all the three phases are controlled, whereby there is a variation possibility to control either both the Half-wave (Fully controlled process) or only one Half-wave (Half controlled start up). Start-up time and starting voltage can be selected freely.  In addition to the separate slow down ramp time settings the beginning of the slow down ramp can be selected at random point between rated voltage and zero voltage sinking.

The control using a contactor or SPS is also standard. Three internal bypass relays are installed respectively in case of 3ph-Devices. There is also a connection available for an external safeguarding. This principle is in accordance with the HSG (Half controlled soft start up devices in housing).

HSG create a first class start up behaviors in case of absolute symmetrical power distribution in 3 phases, whereby the starting current is reduced to the lowest possible values as compared with the other devices. No phase is continuously at the motor. These are suitable for heavy start up behaviors and switching cycles. Switching via operational voltage is possible.

The HSG are greater in dimensions as compared to the previously devices. Inching mode and start up disturbance is possible during the switched off slow down using the selectable voltage reduction. If the slow down is not turned off; then a voltage jump takes place on the set slow down voltage.
