MHB Mini-Statomat

The MINISTAT MHB - Brakes are advanced versions of established STATOMAT-Brakes System AER. It was designed for braking current up to 40 A with integrated brake protection (relays) and 110 A with external brake protection. Since in this case of DC brakes an external profiled cooling element that is very similar in standard program is fixed, the lost heat that is generated can be quickly purged in case of higher switching cycles.

The brake has 4 setting ranges for braking times and also for the rough setting of the braking currents. The fine setting is carried out respectively using the potentiometer.

Apart from this there is also a possibility to operate this brake with a standstill monitoring, so that the direct current-voltage is turned off automatically during the motor standstill. A corresponding signal can also be given.  The time potential is used only for setting the post braking time in case of execution with standstill cutoff.

Compact design of installation size with 145 x 130 x 110 allows it to be used easily in the systems providing less space. A highly stable snap mounting serves takes care of secure holding and quick assembly on the 35 mm bus bars.

Optionally the MHB 1125/INT can also be operated using external braking contactors. Breaking currents up to 110 A can be generated under the usage of strong semi conductors. In these cases the type in MHB 1225 for 50 A, MHB 1325 for 70 A and MHB 2125 for 110 A is changed.
