ZSA/R Reversing
ZSA with reversing is a compact soft start up device in the synthetic housing that can be easily connected. It is available for multiple performance and voltage ranges. The device is 2-ph fully controlled, i.e. one phase is always through connected. As a standard the bypassing is internally integrated, however can also be realized using external contactors (e.g. for special voltages).
Characteristics:
- Soft start up and soft slow down can be set independently
- Changing the rotation of direction using the switch over contact or 24V-interface
- Control can be given electively via switching contact or 24V-Interface
- Message of interruption using Display-LED
There is one power circuit for each rotation direction in the device in case of ZSA-R. Bypassing is also available by default. Switch on/off and reversing the rotational direction can be controlled using a 24-V interface or also switching contacts. The soft start up and slowing down can be set independent of each other from the time and also starting torque point of view (Initial voltage) using the potentiometer. The setting is valid for both the direction of rotations. The initial voltage may be between 0 - 100% and the ramp time for start up and slow down can be between 0-15 s.
A voltage control is necessary for the integrated bypassing. As a standard this is put on 230 V AC. The maximum power of the device is 11 kW at 400 V 50/60 Hz. For the maximum powers some 10 Starts/H are accredited, whereby Ian x tan >_ 4 x Internal x 10s. The safety type of the device is IP 30. The device is suitable for switch cabinet installation for snapping on the 35 mm bus bar.
The device has a NO-Contact for the optional connection of a bypass protection or the T.O.P. - Signaling in case of internal bypassing.
During the operation an error detector identifies the short circuit condition in one or both the controlled phases. Reason for this may be for example defect in semiconductors or the bypass relays that get stuck. In this case the detector prevents the switching over of the rotation direction. A remote evaluation can take place using the contact 1-2, which also signals the T.O.R. - Condition. This condition is ruled out in case of interruption.
The direction of rotation can be changed in the Standby-Mode. After switching the start- up the motor runs in the opposite direction of rotation according to the start up settings; after switching over on the ramp it runs as per the deep run settings.
It is also possible to switch over during the operating mode. The device firstly switches over to slow down ramp and allows the motor to run as per the deep run settings against zero, to get started up afterwards directly in the opposite direction softly as per the acceleration settings.
Light diodes signal the connection of the main controlling voltage, functioning of the semiconductor (start up or slow down), achieving the rated voltage (Switching the bypass) and in given case reports also error.
